A year of Good Country has flown by and, with it, we’ve had an outright abundance of Ed’s Picks – twelve editions, now! From back in our earliest days with the LA Bluegrass Situation or our classic BGS stages at Bonnaroo all the way to our Newport Folk Festival after show or our Good Room showcases at Folk Alliance International earlier this year, BGS and Good Country have always been about exciting discoveries and thoughtful curation. That’s what Ed’s Picks are about, too.

We’ve heard Chappell Roan’s buzzworthy country splash on SNL, the Twisters soundtrack, plenty of old friends like Willie Watson, Ben Harper, and Gabe Witcher, rapidly rising stars like Sierra Ferrell and the Red Clay Strays, bluegrass shredders like Sister Sadie and Wood Box Heroes, and so, so much more. Hopefully, it’s been an excitingly broad, varied, and in-depth listening experience for you, too.
